Popkoor Estrellas is a student pop choir from Groningen!

The young choristers offer a varied repertoire from artists such as Imagine Dragons, Adele, and Queen, under the direction of their choirmaster Wilfred Reneman and their pianist Mariateresa Gallicchio!

They particularly enjoy singing songs about power, self-esteem, and inclusion.

Awards & distinctions

The choir regularly performs at festivals and choir competitions in the Netherlands, especially the BALK TOPfestival, which takes place every two years and where all the best pop choirs in the Netherlands compete for the grand prize.

They have performed for King Willem-Alexander and on national television in the show “Spuiten en Slikken.”

In 2022, they participated in their first international festival in the city of Prague, which was a huge success.

They are delighted to resume their international concerts by touring Provence during the International Choral Festival of Provence.
