In 2027, the International Choral Festival in Provence celebrates a historic anniversary: its 30th edition.
Founded in 1997, this must-attend event for international choral singing has established itself over the years as a major artistic benchmark, becoming the largest international choral festival in France. Every summer, it brings together choirs from France and around the world in Provence for a grand musical tour through the region’s towns and villages.
The 2027 edition will take on a very special dimension, as it will bear the name of its founder, who passed away in 2023:

Through this tribute, we wish to celebrate the vision of a passionate man who dedicated a large part of his life to promoting choral singing, fostering cross-cultural encounters, and making Provence a welcoming land for thousands of choristers from all over the world.
Unique in its kind, the International Choral Festival in Provence offers much more than a series of concerts: it is a human, artistic, and cultural adventure, where voices meet, repertoires cross, and audiences discover the full richness of international choral singing.
Each year, the festival welcomes around 30 international choirs and offers a major concert tour throughout Provence. During recent editions, more than 5,000 spectators attended some thirty free concerts, organized throughout the month of July in about twenty Provençal towns and villages.
Ensembles from all over the world have already taken part in this adventure, helping to make the festival an event that is prestigious, convivial, and deeply international.
Participating in the International Choral Festival in Provence means experiencing music in the heart of an iconic region, amidst heritage, light, a unique way of life, and human encounters.
