Vernier Choir

The Vernier Choir was the choral section of Echo de Vernier, founded in 1920 alongside the Vernier Theater. Since 2018, the Choir has been operating independently.
Over the years, the Choir has explored various repertoires, from folk music to sacred music. Its mission is to offer quality concerts, present lesser-known works to the public, and engage young musicians in a repertoire composed of classical works. However, it does not shy away from ventures into other musical domains.
Several times a year, the Choir performs in concert, either alone or with soloists, accompanied by musical ensembles, in the municipality of Vernier and other cities in Switzerland and abroad, where it performed in July 2015, 2016, and 2017 at the Garda Festival, the Prague Choral Festival, and the Montecatini Choral Festival.
In 2023, the Vernier Choir will celebrate its 100th anniversary and present a program of secular works.
