Orfeó Veus Juntes

Choir presentation
The public debut of Orfeó Veus Juntes at Christmas 1975, under the direction of Josep Lluís Valldecabres, took place during a period of great vitality for the Valencian choral movement. Since its inception, the Orfeó has regularly performed several concerts a year in Quart de Poblet and other Valencian cities. The Orfeó’s approach to choral music is reflected in its participation in and organization of various solidarity initiatives that combine music with social outreach.
It regularly participates in campaigns sponsored by the Conselleria de Cultura and the Diputació de València, as well as in competitions organized in other Spanish cities.
Throughout its 50 years of existence, Orfeó Veus Juntes has completed concert tours in various European countries, including Italy, Belgium, Hungary, France, Portugal, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
THE CHOIR DIRECTOR: Pablo Gimeno Capella
Born in Benaguasil (Valencia), he began his musical studies at the age of seven at his hometown’s music school. At age nine, he joined the Escolanía de la Virgen de los Desamparados de Valencia, with which he participated in notable symphonic and choral projects, performing as a boy soloist in W. A. Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, L. Bernstein’s Mass, and G. Puccini’s Tosca and La Bohème.
He continued his training at the Municipal Conservatory of Valencia, where he studied violin, organ, voice, and choral conducting. Since 2005, he has worked extensively as a conductor, leading groups such as the Coro de Cámara Amalthea, the Coro VOCEARTE, and the Grup Polifònic de Benaguasil. His career has led him to specialize in choral conducting and music pedagogy. Since 2007, he has served as a conductor for children’s choirs and is currently a temporary choral professor at the conservatories of the Generalitat Valenciana.
Since 2014, he has directed the Orfeó Veus Juntes de Quart de Poblet and the Siete Aguas choir. In 2016, he also took over the direction of the Nova Coral de la Unió Musical d’Alaquàs and the Coral de Moncada.
