THE CHOIR DIRECTOR: Elisa Rovida

Singer, songwriter, composer and choir director. In the course of her career, she has explored various musical genres: jazz, soul, pop, rock, gospel and musical comedy. She has had the good fortune to travel the world with her voice, performing in the USA, Germany, France, Egypt, Switzerland, Austria and many other countries. She has composed songs for her own albums and sung on those of other artists.

She currently combines my concert activity with teaching: she gives modern singing lessons and directs three vocal ensembles:

  • One Soul Project Choir (Brescia)
  • Good Job Choir (Brescia)
  • The Pop/Rock Choir of Bergamo’s Politecnico delle Arti.

As early as 1993, she began studying modern singing, a discipline that was still little taught at the time. Over the years, she has studied with various vocal trainers:

  • Jazz with Betty Vittori (1993-1996)

  • Scat improvisation with Bob Stoloff (2011) and Set Riggs (2013)
  • Rock with Michele Luppi (2014-2016)

She has also trained as a choral conductor:

  • USCI Brescia (2016) with Maestro Tommaso Ziliani
