The Skanderborg Youth Choir consists of girls aged 10-15.

The choir has a long tradition, having been founded in 1956.

The choir has a varied repertoire, ranging from Danish songs to classical works. The rhythmic line of the repertoire includes jazz and popular music.

Awards & distinctions

The choir has also recorded four CDs and performs concerts both domestically and abroad, and participates in international competitions such as the World Choir Games and the European Choir Games, where they have won several gold medals.

THE CHOIR DIRECTOR: Alice Vestergaard

The choir is conducted by Alice Vestergaard, who graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in Jutland, Denmark, in 1989.
