Landarbaso Abesbatza

Choir presentation
Landarbaso Abesbatza was formed in 1991 as a youth choral group for singers aged 16 to 36. Currently, the association consists of three groups with over 100 members: Kontari (ages 8 to 14), Landarbasoko Dizdizka Taldea (ages 15 to 21), and Landarbaso Abesbatza (ages 17 to 45).
Qualified experts, the media, and press critics consider Landarbaso a clear musical benchmark in its country. They emphasize their youth, originality, and innovation in projects and quality.
They also demonstrate a strong commitment to Basque culture, particularly through the research and recovery of lost works, new arrangements, and new recordings of their extraordinary musical heritage.
With a clear focus on innovation and the development of attractive and original projects, Landarbaso undertook a radical change in the organization, preparation, and interpretation of its projects. This resulted in a musical performance within a show full of surprises, where the audience is invited to experience a cohesive and compact musical adventure.
