The Voix et Musiques association was created several years ago by a group of friends who simply wanted to be together and sing.
No need to know music theory—Gospel is an orally transmitted song. A “good ear” and a good memory are enough to sing.
Today, the association’s goal is to introduce Gospel and world music through the creation of choirs and musical events. The creation of inclusive choirs and the development of workshops and vocal technique training have been the two new objectives since 2019.
Our choir is called Happy Gospel, and the choice of this name is no accident.
Joy is fundamental when singing these songs. The goal is to have a great time together in the middle of the week with lots of laughter and lots of work.
Getting together is a pleasure.
Happy Gospel is an a cappella choir; only a few songs are sung with instrumental accompaniment.
