Coro CorolLario

Choir presentation

Founded in Dervio in 2013, CorolLario brings together 25 singers in a repertoire ranging from sacred and folk music to contemporary songs.

Awards & distinctions

The CorolLario women’s choir was founded in Dervio, on the shores of Lake Como, in January 2013. The project was launched by Lina Morstabilini, now artistic director, together with Daniela De Francesco and Donata Gottifredi. The ensemble currently has around 25 singers.

Its repertoire brings together contemporary music, Italian and international singer-songwriter songs, sacred music, spirituals, and folk traditions. CorolLario performs regularly in Lombardy and takes part in many international events. The choir has notably sung in France, Vienna, Sicily, at the Cantus Angeli festival in Salerno, and at the Alta Pusteria International Festival. This experience of European encounters has shaped an ensemble that is warm, curious, and open to a wide range of aesthetics.

THE CHOIR DIRECTOR: Lina Morstabilini

A co-founder of the choir, Lina Morstabilini has served as its artistic director since its creation. She develops an accessible, contrasting repertoire that highlights the color of women’s voices while creating an immediate connection with the audience.
