Belle Voci
Choir presentation
Belle Voci is a women’s choir whose members come from Clonmel and the surrounding areas in County Tipperary, Ireland. It has a wide repertoire of popular and traditional songs. It made its international debut at the Prague International Choral Festival in November 2016 and travelled to the On Stage in Lisbon festival in September 2019.
The Belle Voci Choir has competed at events in Ireland, including the AIMS Choral Festival in New Ross and the Sligo International Choral Festival, and was the winner of the community choir category at the Limerick Choral Festival in February 2020.
The thirty-strong membership is under the musical direction of Eamon O’Malley, himself an accomplished musician.
The choir performs once a month at masses in St. Joseph’s Church, Ferryhouse or Clonmel. It organises at least two annual concerts (Christmas and summer) and participates in cultural events throughout the year.
