Viimsi School Choir

Viimsi Kooli vilistlaskoor (Viimsi School Alumni Choir) was founded in September 2018. To enrich his choir, conductor Andrus Kalvet invited former singers from the Viimsi School Youth Choir to join. Thirty singers aged 17 to 52 came together to sing. Subsequently, teachers from Viimsi School also joined the choir.
The choir members are all lovers of choral music and are also united by the wonderful experiences shared while singing together.
The choir’s repertoire consists primarily of Estonian choral music. Some pieces are also based on folk songs arranged by the renowned Estonian composer Veljo Tormis.
