ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Location: Provence, France

Created in 1995, the International Choir Festival in Provence offers you its 26th edition in July 2023. Unique in its kind, this festival hosts high quality French and foreign choirs, for a concert tour throughout Provence. With the goal of transmitting their passion for choral singing, in a communion of cultures and talents, choirs meet audiences with a wide variety of musical styles.

 

During the last edition, more than 30,000 people attended the 38 free concerts that were scheduled in July for three weeks in forty towns and villages in Provence. The festival hosts choirs from France, Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Spain, USA, The Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary and Basque Country. Internationally renowned, it is considered a must-attend event whose artistic quality and organization are hailed by critics every year.

Programme

In 2023, we offer 40 concerts in 30 cities. Unless otherwise stated, allowance is free for the audience. Our wish is to make known to the greatest number the choral art and to share musical emotions with a large public. We hope to see you there!

PARTICIPANTS

Each year we are welcoming choirs from France and around the world. They are selected by our artistic direction for their quality and diversity of repertoires. In 2023, we have the pleasure of welcoming the following choirs (other choirs to come):

    INSURANCES

    In this particularly complicated period, and with the aim to protect you, we have specially negotiated a comprehensive insurance package, notably to cover:

     

    • Cancellation insurance
    • Baggage insurance
    • Health or injury insurance
    • Early return insurance
    • Assistance in case of death
    • Travel assistance
    • Interruption of stay
    • Accident insurance

     

    + additional specific COVID19 insurance, Health Protection Extension:

     

    • Cancellation if positive for an epidemic or pandemic up to 30 days before departure
    • Cancellation if COVID19 contact case within 14 days prior to departure
    • Cancellation for denied boarding following a temperature measurement or the positive result of a PCR and / or antigen test at the departure airport
    • Cancellation in the event of absence of vaccination
    • Repatriation assistance

     

    This insurance package is optional, but we highly recommend it.
