Mate Asher choir was established in 1982 by Mr. Joseph Seifert.
Singers from the local area joined the yang choir.
Later on concerts took place on Fridays evenings in the local villages (kibbutz). Musicians wrote special songs for the choir and the concerts were all over the country and in Europe.
Over the years the conductors replaced one another. In the last ten years Dr. Tommer Hesseg conducted the choir with great talent.
