The next edition of the International Choral Festival of Vasto – Costa dei Trabocchi d’Abruzzo will take place in October 2024.
The Festival will bring together international choirs and orchestras as well as local groups for concerts in a dozen towns in Abruzzo and a grand final concert in VASTO in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore.
In 2023, the Festival welcomed the Belle Voci choir from Ireland and the Triglavske Rožce choir from Slovenia. The two choirs gave concerts in the municipalities of Vasto, Roseto degli Abruzzi and Orsogna. The concerts were shared with the Italian choirs: Coro Polifonico Histonium, Coro Ars Vocalis & Coro Polifonico La Figlia di Jorio.
The Festival lasts three days: from Friday to Sunday. The concerts are organised in Vasto and different cities of this beautiful area with the local choirs’ participation.
The additional days are devoted to tourism and relaxing. Vasto is situated less than 200 km from Rome. Our tours include lakes, the Adriatic coastline, national parks, imposing mountain ranges, UNESCO heritage sites, some of the most beautiful medieval towns in the country, and an eclectic and diverse cuisine that changes from the beach to the mountains. Central Italy’s Abruzzo has always attracted visitors thanks to its enviable beautiful seasons…
The number of days of participation can be increased or reduced upon request, our tourist programmess are all tailor-made in order to satisfy our clients’ choices.
