Girls Choir of Musamari

The Musamari School Girls’ Choir is composed of girls aged 13 to 18, most of whom have been singing together since preschool. The choir has participated in numerous musical projects, song celebrations, festivals, and competitions in Estonia and abroad. It has collaborated with some of Estonia’s finest musicians, singers, and composers, as well as the Estonian Youth Symphonic Orchestra. Annual concerts at the Estonia Concert Hall have become a cherished tradition. The choir’s repertoire consists of classical and contemporary choral music written by prominent composers from around the world.
THE CHOIR DIRECTOR: Tiina Mee
Tiina Mee graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music as a music teacher and choir conductor. She founded the Musamari Children’s Music School in 1995 and the Musamari Vocal Studio in 1997, the latter of which became the Musamari Choral School in 2006. Tiina Mee is the director of the Musamari Choral School and conducts both girls’ and children’s choirs.
With her choirs, Tiina Mee has participated in various musical projects, song celebrations, festivals, and competitions in Estonia and abroad. She has worked with several professional musicians, singers, and composers in Estonia, notably participating in nine projects with the Estonian Youth Symphonic Orchestra.
