Tiny Choir

Choir presentation
Le Chœur Minuscule is an ensemble founded in 2018, driven by a group of singer friends who wished to continue the experience of the university choir where they had met. It is a flexible ensemble, offering concerts in line with its members’ musical inspirations. Sometimes 25 strong, sometimes just 6, a cappella or accompanied by piano, the choir’s repertoire includes the requiems of Brahms, Fauré and Mozart; motets by Duruflé, Bonis, Bruckner or Ola Gjeilo; as well as choral arrangements ranging from gospel to jazz.
The ensemble performs mainly in Parisian churches and venues, but sometimes travels to other regions, and even made its way as far as Rome for a concert in September 2022. Le Chœur Minuscule takes its name from the lyrics of a piece by Philippe Hersant, which marked its beginnings—because with a tiny choir comes infinite thought.
