The ensemble “Les Zinforbelles” was born from the union of a mixed quartet, Les Zinformels, and a female quartet, Les Fées du hasard, created in 2006 and 2016 respectively. It has a dual foundation: friendship and music.

Les Zinforbelles perform at choral gatherings, through the animation of a venue, or on their own initiative, particularly to promote small a cappella ensembles. In late 2018, they created the “musique de poche” festival, whose first edition unfortunately could not be continued in subsequent years due to the pandemic.

The ensemble’s direction is collective in the choice of pieces and their interpretation, as well as in concert performance, guided by collective listening.

The repertoire knows no boundaries and spans international and French popular music, jazz, as well as classical works. Harmony is at home everywhere. One simply needs to find it: this is what Les Zinforbelles strive to do.
