The Vox Novus women’s choir was created unexpectedly and spontaneously in late spring 2012 when the Canzonetta choir had to be completed for the trip to Ohrid, Czech Republic
After two months of work, the Canzonetta’s choir was ranked in Ohrid among the first, between the gold and silver medals.
After this first great success, it was decided to continue working together.
In a short time, Vox convinced the public, both amateurs and professionals, with their love of music and choral singing. The choir proves new successes at national and international level. Over the years, the members of the choir have partly changed, but the fundamental idea of singing with taste still persists.
The repertoire includes choral compositions of the Renaissance, Baroque, classical music, romantic, but also contemporary and popular songs.
The choir leader is Petra Nová.
