The Bastidan choir is a mixed vocal ensemble founded in 1999 in La Roquebrussanne by Michèle Caporali. For ten years, more than fifty concerts devoted mainly to scholarly music have been given successfully under his direction in the region and internationally.
Philippe Mopin succeeded him in 2009 and offered a new artistic direction through an original repertoire of French songs, Renaissance songs, jazz, musicals… Shows around a theme or dedicated to an artist with a staging were presented over the years to a loyal audience. Each year many choirs have been invited to share in particular Christmas concerts and to celebrate the beginning of summer.
