The Choir Daltrocanto

The DALTROCANTO Choir has been based in the city of Salerno (Italy) since 2001, thanks to the dedication of a group of people who, although not musicians, wanted to make their passion for music a goal of sharing and pleasant commitment.
Founded and directed by Maestro Patrizia Bruno, the group has participated in numerous concerts and shows since its creation.
The choir has been invited to perform in television programmes that have been praised by the press.
It has won various competitions and participated in national and international choral events and meetings.
He won the first prize at the International Competition “S.Alfonso Maria de’Liguori” in Pagani and the special prize at the Mayfest in Caserta.
In 2015, at the International Choral Competition ‘J.Brahms’ in Wernigerode – Germany, he distinguished himself by winning 1st place in the Profane Polyphony category and 2nd place in the Pop/Jazz category.
In 2019 he sang in the Vatican for Pope Francis at the 3rd International Choir Meeting in the Vatican.
In 2022, he won the prize for best arrangement at the Christmas Gospel Lights Competition.
