Ai WU<\/h2><\/div>
<\/div><\/div>

Opera singer and choir conductor Ai WU was born in Chongqing (China). Trained at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she earned a Master\u2019s degree, she later taught there alongside the renowned pedagogue Zhou Xiao Yan. In France, she obtained the Concert Performer Diploma from the \u00c9cole Normale de Paris. <\/p>\n<\/div>

She then won several prizes in international competitions in the Opera and Baroque categories, and regularly performs in staged opera productions in China and France: Bizet\u2019s Carmen, Cherubino (Figaro, Mozart), Angelina (La Cenerentola, Rossini) and Rosina (The Barber of Seville), then Dorabella (Cos\u00ec fan tutte, Mozart) and Suzuki (Madama Butterfly, Puccini), the Mother (H\u00e4nsel und Gretel, Humperdinck)\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Since 2014, she has pursued a Franco-Chinese career, regularly invited to China for galas under the baton of the great Sino-European conductor Muhai Tang in prestigious venues: Shanghai Philharmonic Hall, Tianjing Opera House, Zhengzhou Grand Theatre, Nanning Grand Theatre, for programmes featuring Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Saint-Sa\u00ebns\u2026 Since 2015, she has collaborated with Ensemble Matheus in Baroque and Romantic opera. She also continues her chamber music work in the French, Spanish and Baroque repertoires. <\/div>\n

In November 2018, she toured China with concerts and masterclasses devoted to the French Impressionist repertoire, and then in December she was invited as soloist for the concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of the GuangXi Region, with the GuangXi Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Muhai Tang.<\/div>\n

In January 2019, she was invited by the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra for the New Year Gala, with a programme of Vivaldi, Saint-Sa\u00ebns and Mozart. Since then, she has performed notably in Paris (Grand Palais, Salle Wagram), Monaco, the Czech Republic and China, in ensembles ranging from chamber music to full philharmonic orchestra. <\/div>\n

Committed to promoting the arts, she created the first Franco-Chinese Festival of L\u2019Isle-Adam in 2018, combining music and painting. In 2023, she took over the organisation of the Brest International Piano Competition for its 26th edition. Ai WU\u2019s repertoire spans from Baroque music to Richard Strauss, including Mozart and Rossini. <\/div>\n

At the same time, she is dedicated to passing on her knowledge and teaches classical singing and choral conducting at the Conservatoire \u00e0 Rayonnement R\u00e9gional de Brest, where she conducts two mixed choirs with varied programmes.<\/div>\n

Today, she is a passionate ambassador of French culture in China.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In 2007, Susanna founded the Young Choral Academy in Kuala Lumpur, a place where choral singing enthusiasts can learn more about vocal and choral education. She helped bring the Kod\u00e1ly teacher-training course to Malaysia in order to raise the standards of music teaching in local classrooms. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

She organised the 24th International Kod\u00e1ly Symposium in August 2019 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia; through this, she hopes to increase awareness of the Kod\u00e1ly teaching philosophy in the Southeast Asia region. During the pandemic, Susanna organised monthly online Kod\u00e1ly workshops, bringing together music educators from around the world to learn, sing and stay connected. <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Susanna is also the founder and director of the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod (MCE), which has organised various national and international choir symposiums and festivals since 2002.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Since 2007, Susanna has been regularly invited by INTERKULTUR in Germany to serve as a jury member for the Asia Pacific and World Choir Games. She was appointed to the working committee of the Asia-Pacific Choral Council under the auspices of the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM). <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Susanna is also an active speaker at various music education events, promoting effective music teaching in the 21st century. She currently serves as Vice President of the International Kod\u00e1ly Society, the World Association of Youth and Children\u2019s Choral Artists, and the Malaysian Association for Music Education. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
She is also a board member of the International Federation of Choral Conductors (IFCM) and serves on the advisory board of CHORALSPACE in Germany.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Brady R. Allred<\/h2><\/div>
<\/div><\/div>

Artistic Director and Conductor of the Salt Lake Choral Artists in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr Brady R. Allred has earned \u201can international reputation for excellence.\u201d Under his leadership, the Salt Lake Choral Artists, a non-profit arts organisation comprising seven choirs and more than 300 singers, have been critically acclaimed for their innovative concerts, their Summer Choral Institute programme, their international tours, and their presence on iTunes and YouTube. Dr Allred also serves on juries for the world\u2019s leading international competitions and gives masterclasses on five continents. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Known worldwide for their \u201cexquisite choral singing,\u201d Dr Allred\u2019s ensembles have been invited to major festivals and competitions around the globe. They have won the Grand Prix at the Floril\u00e8ge Vocal de Tours (France), the European Grand Prix, and First Prizes at the International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf, the Tolosa International Choral Competition (Spain), and the Concorso Polifonico Internazionale in Arezzo (Italy).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr Allred also received the conductor\u2019s prize in Marktoberdorf, Germany. The Salt Lake Vocal Artists represented the United States at the World Choral Symposium in Argentina and recently toured Bulgaria, Turkey, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands.   They were also featured performers at the 2015 national conference of the American Choral Directors Association, and represented the United States at the first World Choral Expo in Macao, China, in November 2015, which included a series of concerts in Hong Kong.  They represented the United States at the 2017 World Choral Symposium in Barcelona, Spain, and returned to Tolosa, Spain, in October 2018 for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Tolosa International Choral Competition.  They were invited to the Cantemus Festival in Hungary in August 2022 and to the International Choral Festival in Missoula, Montana in 2023.<\/div>\n

Before being appointed full-time Artistic Director of SLCA, Dr Allred was Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at the University of Utah.  He also served as Music Director and Conductor of the Butler Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania, Director of Choral Activities at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and Artistic Director and Conductor of the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh.<\/div>\n

Dr Allred has been a guest conductor with the Schumann Chamber Orchestra in Italy, the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland, the Russian Ministry of Defence Symphony Orchestra, the Salt Lake Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Vox Gaudiosa of Tokyo, the New Israeli Vocal Ensemble, Oslo Voices in Norway, the Taipei Youth Choir in Taiwan, the national youth choirs of Sweden, Norway and Estonia at the Europa Cantat festival in Hungary, the Gondwana Choirs at the Australian National Choral School 2016, the Tuks Camerata and the Akustika Chamber Choir in Pretoria, South Africa, and the Harmonia Ensemble in Tokyo, Japan.  His recent guest-conducting engagements have taken him to Birmingham, Alabama; New York; South Africa; Switzerland; China; Taiwan; the Netherlands; Germany; Belgium; Bali; France; Indonesia; and Japan.<\/div>\n

As a singer, he has performed with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers and the Oregon Bach Festival Chorus under the direction of Helmuth Rilling.  He has served on international juries for competitions in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, China, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand, and has conducted more than one hundred regional and All-State choirs.<\/div>\n
In addition, Dr Allred earned a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts in conducting from the Eastman School of Music, as well as an undergraduate degree in theory\/composition and flute performance from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, soprano Carol Ann Allred, have travelled extensively and performed as artistic ambassadors for the United States Information Agency. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Born in 1984, he graduated from a chemistry programme at Manado State University. He also became a choir conductor at the age of 17. <\/p>\n

Since then, he has continued his musical activities, successfully taking part in various national and international competitions as choir conductor of Manado State University, Bitung, City Chorale, Master of Breakthrough, the North Sulawesi LPPD Choir and the North Sulawesi GMIM Male Choir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Since 2005, he has studied music with Professor Perry Rumengan (Indonesia), Tommyanto Kandisaputra (Indonesia), Professor Andre de Quadros (United States) and Jonathan Velasco (Philippines), attended music symposiums, studied piano and composition, taught music in churches, and served as a judge in various choir competitions.<\/span><\/div>\n

Stephan Nicolay<\/h2><\/div>

Stephan is the Artistic Director of the 2024 International Choral Competition in Provence (he is not a jury member).<\/p>\n

After an engineering degree in electronics, an organ prize, a degree in musicology and a state diploma in Vocal Ensemble Conducting, St\u00e9phan is now a recognised professional. A composer, teacher, and conductor of professional and amateur choirs, Stephan has been collaborating with Choral Events for more than 6 years on a wide range of projects. Stephan is now the Artistic Director of Choral Events.<\/p>\n<\/div>

After dual scientific training (Polytech Nice engineer) and musical training (studies at the conservatoires of Cannes and Nice, organ prize, degree in musicology), St\u00e9phan Nicolay began a career in aerospace (S\/T Thales Alenia Space) before turning away from it to become a state-certified conductor of vocal ensembles (Cefedem Lyon) and a laureate of several international competitions (1st organ prize at the UFAM Competition in Paris, various composition prizes in France and abroad).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

His eclecticism has led him both to tour with an Occitan rock band and to teach in music schools, lead workshops in schools, and conduct major works with choir and orchestra (e.g.: Requiem <\/em>Verdi,  Mors et Vita <\/em>Gounod, Polovtsian Dances <\/em>Borodin, \u2026). He is regularly sought after as a guest conductor for productions or as a project leader for events. In 2023, he assembled choirs for collaborations with the  Orchestre National de Cannes<\/em>, the Genoa Opera<\/em>, the Turin Philharmonic<\/em>, and also with The Real Group<\/em>. In 2024, his professional ensemble  Alicantus <\/em>is scheduled as part of the MIDEM+24 Live Festival<\/em> and is recording the choral parts for the next album by the metal band Igorrr<\/em>.<\/div>\n

Whether his writing is inspired by the French masters of the early 20th century, for whom he has a particular affection, or more contemporary, his music is characterised by an undeniable poetic force. Awarded in various international competitions, his works are part of the repertoire of several European choirs such as Polski Chor Kameralny, The New Dublin Voices, Coro da Camera di Torino\u2026 His works have notably been recorded by the Ch\u0153ur de Chambre 1732 (a monographic album devoted to his sacred music in 2019, and another album to be released in 2024 featuring secular works alongside pieces by Isabelle Aboulker). <\/p>\n

Krista Audere, a Latvian-born singer and choir conductor, leads several amateur and professional choirs in the Netherlands. Krista is the winner of the 2021 Eric Ericson Award. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Krista Audere is the 2021 Eric Ericson Award laureate, the world\u2019s leading competition for young choral conductors.<\/div>\n

Krista Audere (1989) graduated from the Riga Dom Choir School, where she obtained qualifications as a choir conductor and choral singer. She then earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in choral conducting at the J\u0101zeps V\u012btols Latvian Academy of Music, while further developing her musical experience at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In 2016, Krista earned a master\u2019s degree cum laude<\/em> at the Amsterdam University of the Arts.<\/div>\n

As a singer, she has collaborated with the Latvian Radio Choir and Cappella Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

Krista Audere frequently serves on juries for choral conducting competitions and gives masterclasses in choral conducting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The last student of the renowned Professor Piotr Gorokhov of the Prokofiev State Conservatory of Donetsk in Ukraine, a graduate of the Slaviansk School of Music, the Dzerzinsk Music College and the Donetsk Conservatory, Igor Mykhailevsky taught music education, singing techniques, voice and choral conducting.<\/p>\n

He founded the Crimean Choir in 1994, which under his direction\u2014and thanks to his choral training method\u2014became one of the most representative ensembles of the Slavic musical and vocal repertoire. This excellent level of the Crimean Choir, unanimously recognised, earned him the highest distinctions in his country: Merited Master of Arts of Ukraine, Honorary Citizen for the Arts of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea\u2026 <\/p>\n

Having arrived in France in 2022, Igor Mykhailevsky\u2019s tireless dynamism and great expertise have led him to develop new projects: creating a choral singing festival and organising music training courses throughout France, joined by passionate choristers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Luc coadou<\/h2><\/div>

Luc Coadou is a French solo singer specialising in the Baroque bass repertoire of the 17thth<\/abbr> and 18thth<\/abbr> centuries. He is also active as a choir and orchestra conductor, leading the Ensemble Instrumental de Toulon et du Var as well as the professional vocal ensemble \u201cLes Voix Anim\u00e9es\u201d. Luc will serve as President of the Jury for the 3rd time. <\/p>\n<\/div>

With Les Voix Anim\u00e9es, he explores the vast repertoire of a cappella<\/em> vocal music, and especially Renaissance polyphony. By founding the ensemble in 2009, Luc Coadou shaped a true sonic \u201ctoolkit,\u201d enabling him to bring back to life\u2014and to voice\u2014little-known or even forgotten music from the 15th and 16th centuries. Through the ensemble\u2019s programmes, the \u201cRenaissance\u201d composers Josquin, Lassus, Palestrina, Victoria and Byrd re-enchant our 21st-century ears and mingle with works by \u201ccontemporary\u201d composers Karol Beffa, Dimitri Tchesnokov, Tomas Bordalejo, L\u00e9o Collin, Rapha\u00ebl Languillat, Christophe Demarthe and Romain Bastard, specially composed for Les Voix Anim\u00e9es. <\/div>\n

As a conductor, Luc Coadou has led, among others, Mozart\u2019s Requiem and Mass in C minor, Monteverdi\u2019s Vespro della Beata Vergine, Purcell\u2019s Dido and Aeneas, Georg Friedrich Handel\u2019s Messiah, and many 19th-century lyric works, including lesser-known operas by Boieldieu, Weber, Chabrier, Viardot, Bizet, Gounod, Pergolesi, Gr\u00e9try, Delibes, Terrasse and Offenbach.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A singing teacher, he is invited by the Conservatoire national sup\u00e9rieur de musique et danse de Lyon for masterclasses devoted to Renaissance polyphony, and has taught since 2000 at the Conservatoire national \u00e0 rayonnement r\u00e9gional de Toulon Provence M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, after teaching for ten years at the Conservatoire of Caen.<\/div>\n
With Les Voix Anim\u00e9es, he explores the vast repertoire of a cappella<\/em> vocal music, and especially Renaissance polyphony. By founding the ensemble in 2009, Luc Coadou shaped a true sonic \u201ctoolkit,\u201d enabling him to bring back to life\u2014and to voice\u2014little-known or even forgotten music from the 15th and 16th centuries. Through the ensemble\u2019s programmes, the \u201cRenaissance\u201d composers Josquin, Lassus, Palestrina, Victoria and Byrd re-enchant our 21st-century ears and mingle with works by \u201ccontemporary\u201d composers Karol Beffa, Dimitri Tchesnokov, Tomas Bordalejo, L\u00e9o Collin, Rapha\u00ebl Languillat, Christophe Demarthe and Romain Bastard, specially composed for Les Voix Anim\u00e9es. <\/div>\n

During his studies, in 2008, he founded the \u201cCantate Deo\u201d choir at the Holy Cross Parish in Tychy and, in 2013, he became the conductor of the choir of the University of Economics in Katowice.<\/p>\n

He has performed in concerts in Poland and abroad, including in Italy, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Macedonia and China.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He has won numerous prizes and distinctions with his ensembles, the most recent of which are<\/div>\n

\u2013 1st<\/sup> Prize in the mixed choirs category and the Grand Prix at the 10th International Choral Competition \u201cMusic & Sea\u201d in Paralia, Greece (2022),<\/p>\n

\u2013 Gold Medal in the academic choirs category and a special prize for the best performance of a sacred piece at the 17th International Choral Festival \u201cGaude Cantem\u201d in Bielsko-Bia\u0142a (2022),<\/p>\n

\u2013 Gold Medal and 1st<\/sup> Prize at the national choral tournament Legnica Cantat 53 in Legnica, and a prize for the best performance of a contemporary Polish composer (2023),<\/p>\n

\u2013 1st<\/sup> Prize in the mixed choir category and 3rd<\/sup> in the Grand Prix competition at the International Choral Competition in Provence (2023). In addition, he was awarded Best Conductor of the 2023 International Choral Competition in Provence, and was therefore invited to serve as a jury member for the 2024 edition.<\/p>\n

He has also repeatedly received a special prize for Best Choir Conductor at other choral festivals and competitions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Since 2015, he has been the artistic director of the local Christmas carols and pastoral songs review in Tychy for primary schools, middle schools and high schools. Since 2018, he has also been the artistic director of the Metropolitan Choral Festival in Katowice. <\/div>\n

He has successfully conducted many vocal and instrumental concerts, such as J. Rutter\u2019s Magnificat, G. Faur\u00e9\u2019s Requiem, J.S. Bach\u2019s Mass in B minor, W. Kilar\u2019s Missa pro Pace and K. Jenkins\u2019s Stabat Mater. He has recorded 4 CDs: Gabriel Faur\u00e9\u2019s Requiem; albums of songs recorded with the \u201cCantate Deo\u201d choir and the choir of the University of Economics in Katowice; and the CD Caelesti lumine, which contains sacred songs performed by the choir of the University of Economics in Katowice. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Camilo Santostefano holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in choral conducting from the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires. He is also qualified as a music teacher and guitar teacher from the Mor\u00f3n Conservatory in Argentina. At UNCUYO University in Argentina, he pursued postgraduate studies in \u201cPerformance of 20th-century Latin American music\u201d.
He received the 2019 Konex Award, Merit Mention in choral conducting, as one of the 100 most influential Argentine musicians of the period 2009\u20132018.
He currently conducts the Coro Polif\u00f3nico de C\u00f3rdoba, the professional choir of the Teatro del Libertador San Martin in C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina. <\/p>\n

Camilo is the founder and conductor of MusicaQuantica Voces de C\u00e1mara, which has won numerous awards worldwide: Grand Prix Ave Verum (Austria 2012), Grand Prix Floril\u00e8ge Vocal de Tours (France 2012), finalist for the European Grand Prix (Italy 2013), IFCM Ambassador (South Korea 2014), as well as many awards in his home country of Argentina. He also received the First Prize in Orchestral Conducting in 2014 at the University Maimonides Competition, as well as the FNA Award for Best Conductor at Ansilta 2010, San Juan, Argentina. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He founded and conducted the opera company L\u00edrica Lado B between 2009 and 2018 (winner of the ACMA stimulation award in 2015), with which he premiered many operas in South America.<\/div>\n

He founded and conducted the Carlos L\u00f3pez Buchardo Choir of the National University of the Arts (FAUNA Award 2017) between 2013 and 2022.
In addition, Camilo was director of the choir of the National School of Buenos Aires as well as its Amadeo Jacques Chamber Choir.<\/p>\n

He lived in Austria between 2019 and 2022, where he was conductor of the Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen, Cantilena Kammer Frauenchor, Ensemble KammerAT, Melange Vocal Wien, and guest conductor of the Wiener Tonkunstvereinigung Chor und Orchester.<\/p>\n

Camilo is also a guest conductor of the National Youth Choir of Wales (United Kingdom), Red Coral of Medell\u00edn (Colombia), Fullerton College in Los Angeles (United States) and the Coro Polif\u00f3nico Nacional (Argentina).<\/p>\n

He taught conducting at the Astor Piazzolla Conservatory in Buenos Aires. French. <\/p>\n

He has also given masterclasses and lectures in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, the United States and Wales.
As a composer, he won first prize for the 80th anniversary of the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires and second prize in the \u201cOperaVista\u201d chamber opera composition competition in Houston, United States.<\/p>\n

As a jury member, he took part in 2022 in the International Choral Competition with Choral Events, Provence, France, as well as the Victoria Adriatic Choral Competition and We Are Singing, Opatija, Croatia;<\/p>\n
